compliance through daily Safety Meetings, Inspections, Job Safety and Environmental Analysis, and On-The-Job Training. Our
personnel are fully trained in MMS, DOT, OSHA, USCG, EPA (DEQ), TRRC, FERC, and DNR regulations; ANSI, API, IADC, etc.
Standards; and Industry Best Practices with applications in Exploration, Production, Construction,
De-commissioning, Refining,
Marine, Manufacturing and other industries.
Our DCI personnel identify unsafe and unhealthy conditions and behaviors, and potentially-damaging environmental conditions, and recommend the most effective, efficient, economical, safest and healthiest remedy possible. DCI has certified “competent persons” in confined space entry, fall protection and excavating/trenching.
Our personnel conduct audits and assessments to verify compliance with your company’s and/or your contractors’ HSE plans, programs, permits, reports, policies and procedures. We conduct pre-acquisition audits of drilling rigs to prevent down time and unnecessary expenditures at the drill site. We perform pre-MMS audits to avoid Incidents of Non-Compliance (INC). DCI personnel use gas detectors to monitor low oxygen levels, and dangerous levels of gases (hydrogen sulfide, carbon dioxide, hydrocarbon gas, etc.) We conduct or lead teams in investigations and perform root cause analyses. We monitor Job Safety and Environmental Analysis, Short-Service Employee and Behavior-Based Safety Program activities to ensure effective and safe operations.
Trained and certified personnel conduct on-site N.O.R.M. Surveys and ensure the shipments of contaminated vessels, piping, and other materials and equipment are properly tagged and expedited. Our experienced personnel use noise meters to conduct noise surveys, develop contours and help identify high noise areas on plat plans or Station Bills. Documentation is both hard copy and electronic.
